I believe that being an Elected Official goes well beyond the position for which you are
chosen. In fact, if I am chosen to LEAD my constituents, I will demonstrate the following:
Leadership – I have proven track record -- from political leadership, through the Republican
Party, as well in the community, as SPCA President and a community activist. I believe
leadership means many things. It means remembering why you were elected and using your
skills to influence change in a positive way. It means doing what’s right, even if it isn’t popular. It
means working hard to build relationships that will improve our community. Sometimes, it even
means knowing when to follow.
Education – With a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, I have the education to get the job done.
My degree from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business trained me in the
essentials that are needed to accomplish the tasks at hand. In addition to my formal education,
as a real estate professional in Dorchester County, I have hands on training in issues directly
related to the position of Auditor.
Accountability – I will serve honorably as Auditor, but most importantly, I will stand by my
decisions and be 100% accountable for my actions. Honesty is FUNDAMENTAL in this
position.
Dedication – Having grown up in a family dedicated to serving the public, I have learned first-
hand the importance of working for the citizens of Dorchester County. Being dedicated to
serving YOU will be my main focus.
In closing, I firmly believe I can make a positive change in Dorchester County and LEAD my
constituents as an educated, accountable, and dedicated elected Auditor. Please take the time
